Pearched on the slopes of Mt. Hualalai, high above the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona, is the quaint village of Holualoa.
Holualoa boasts abundant artistic talent and is home to galleries, art studios, ukulele makers, and homemade island crafts and gifts. Located along the Kona coffee belt, it is a town significant in Hawaiian history, home to stories of the first coffee farms and early Hawaiian culture. Here you will find lush foliage, exotic fruit trees, brilliant flowers, and (of course) world famous Kona coffee.
After an exhilarating day in the Hawaiian sun and surf, the cool 1500 ft elevation is a welcome respite.
